Give Your Room More Texture

You’re a tad limited when it comes to using wall paint because you can’t create interesting patterns and textures. With wallpaper, you can change the entire look of a room in a flash! The bonus is that wallpaper is durable, low maintenance and can last up to 15 years.

Choose One Wall

Using wallpaper on all four walls might be a bit much – that’s when it can look old-fashioned. The key is to choose one wall in the room, such as the wall behind the headboard or above the fireplace, and cover that with pretty wallpaper. This grabs the eye when you enter the room and gives you an easy style update without having to buy new furniture or decor accessories.

Cover Up Your Accessories

It’s not just your walls that can benefit from wallpaper – furniture and accessories can also get in on the fun! You can line the inside of a lampshade with patterned wallpaper or cover pot plants to give them a pretty dash of colour. Why not cover an old dresser to bring it back to life? Cut It Out

Who says you have to cover an accent wall with wallpaper from ceiling to floor? Be daring and cut out a large piece of wallpaper, then set it behind a sofa or some other item of furniture. Strip It

You don’t have to stick to one wallpaper pattern and/or colour for a section of the wall.
