You might not have a lot of space in your bedroom, but that doesn’t mean you need to limit its style and beauty. Here’s how to turn your bedroom into a gorgeous, comforting room, no matter its size.

    Get Smart Storage

You might not have lots of storage space, but you can create it. Things like rolling draws, using the space under your bed, and baskets that can double up as decor items are clever ways to store your prized possessions so that they’re out of the way but easily found when you need them.

    Use Soft Lighting

This helps to blur the edges of your bedroom, giving you a dreamy ambiance. Things like frosted shades can go a long way to making you feel relaxed when you’re in your bedroom, plus soft lighting can also make your space feel bigger.

    Prettify With A Pale Palette

Paint your walls and furniture in light colours, such as beige and white. These are known to make rooms look bigger. But go one step further: make this pale palette run through the entire room, even with decor items such as gorgeous cushions, so that the result is a room that looks larger.

    Create Depth On The Walls

By giving you something interesting to look at, you trick your brain into thinking a room is larger. But you need to be smart about how you do it. Here’s an idea: create an accent wall in your bedroom that displays many small pictures or small decor items, like plates. Make sure you place them on the wall in an interesting shape. This is better than having just one large painting on the wall which can have the effect of closing you in.

    Slide Into Style

If you have a slanted ceiling, this can make your bedroom look smaller. But don’t fret. A simple trick is to get the wall covered in a pattern that matches the one on your bed. This helps to create a feeling of unity and makes the bed and wall flow into each other, creating not only a stylish room but one that looks bigger than it is.
