After use, hand wash your board with hot water and mild soap, and wipe dry with a cloth. Never soak your board. Once fully dried, apply a thin coat of olive oil and polish on all sides using a paper towel. Wooden boards can be damaged if exposed to too much moisture or allowed to get very dry, so keep it oiled. After prolonged use, your board may show cutting marks or stains.  Simply sand down the dry board with fine sand paper, and repeat olive oil treatment.
