‘Sonka’ means bread in Xhosa. The organically edged shaped plate has been designed to hold a ciabatta loaf and a knife, but also makes the perfect serving platter for the table. The organic range is hand shaped so all differ slightly. All are smooth and silky to the touch. Handmade from solid Basswood, from sustainably forested plantations, in Cape Town, South Africa.
