Summah is a dad and daughter duo. Kirsten resides in Istanbul and her father, Mark is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Together they work with a small family run business in Istanbul. Their intimate factory has five looms and is based in Denizli, Turkey; a small Aegean town which harvests their own cotton fields. All of their towels / throws are loomed there and once complete the finished product is carefully packaged and sent to Istanbul where Kirsten goes and hand selects each and every towel before we have it sent to their stockists.
Summah towels and throws are hand loomed using 100% finest grade Turkish cotton. All the tassles are tied by hand to each towel and quality control is done by the weavers wives.
