[dropcap1]Y[/dropcap1]our bedside table doesn’t have to be an actual table. There are many creative ways to make it more stylish and fun in a flash, while being friendly to your budget. Here are five awesome ideas.
Pack A Suitcase
That pretty suitcase you never use much ’cause you haven’t travelled in ages? Place it on a small stool or stack it on other cases and you have a fun nightstand idea that screams wanderlust.
Nail A Shelf To The Wall
If you don’t have much space in your bedroom but you still need a nightstand for some important possessions, don’t worry. Simply nail a floating shelf to the wall and use that as your night stand. Perfect without being clunky.
Block It
If you like the idea of doing something totally different, cinder blocks can be perfect to use as nightstands. This is because they have holes in them so you can stack books, cacti or other small items in them, while giving your bedroom serious artistic appeal.
Step Up
A small wooden ladder can be a charming night stand. You can use the rungs to store your items, and it doesn’t take up much space. You can prettify the ladder by painting it in a bright colour or winding fake flowers over the rungs. Gorgeous.
Boxed and Beautiful
Got some old shoeboxes lying around? Paint them or cover them up in pretty wrapping paper, then stack them next to your bed. This is a great spot for some items, including a reading lamp, and a smart way to upcycle boxes that usually get tossed away. Just make sure you have enough boxes to reach the top of your mattress so that it’s not too high or low.
There are many different items you can use or upcycle into nightstands. You just need to see them in new and exciting ways to give your bedroom a unique appearance that you’ll love.
